CJP should hear cases of my sons: Gilani

Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that business tycoon Malik Riaz enjoys good relations with almost all political leaders, including Nawaz Sharif, .

“Not with Rehman Malik alone, but Malik Riaz has relations with almost all political parties and their leaders,” Gilani said while replying to a question while speaking to media representatives at the Prime Minister House here Sunday.

Gilani questioned that why PML-N chief did not become a party in Arsalan Iftikhar’s alleged graft case.

“They (the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz) became a party in memogate, NRO, rental power plants and contempt case, but why not this time? May be Nawaz Sharif is enjoying good relations with Malik Riaz,” Gilani said.

He said the government respects judiciary, facing all cases filed against the ruling clique.

Gilani urged the Chief Justice to hear himself all cases against his sons. “I will be happy if Mr. Chief Justice hears the cases of my sons. They have been implicated in false cases.”
